India’s LNG imports are projected to more than double by 2030, driven by an 11% annual rise in demand and sluggish local gas production growth. LNG consumption is expected to reach 64 bcm annually, with overall gas consumption surging to 103 bcm. Additional import capacity and contracts are essential to meet future needs.
